I liked the inspiration you posted. I am a little jaded on Aphex Twin and the entire "IDM" movement, because for me, it was something I was really absorbed with in my more youthful years. But I can't help but admit that his music is well crafted and very origina, and those videos are fantastic. Also, I think he was one of the first people to introduce the concept of abstract and ambient sound to our generation, and is really one of the most influential figures in pop music. I can say that he had a direct impact on my artistic vision as well.
